Experienced dispatcher wanted, with 2-3 years of experience in booking loads in Canada and United States.
Duties and responsibilities:

 

  • Book loads using Load link from/to USA
  • Use Dispatching Software
  • Create ACE/ACI manifest
  • Successfully plan and schedule drivers, truck loads and routes.
  • Book pickup/ delivery appointments and schedule pick up date and time.
  • Negotiate rates with customers to achieve a monthly Targets
  • Communicate with drivers to keep everything on track
  • Be detailed oriented, team player and multi task oriented
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication
The successful candidate will work with the team and customers to facilitate the timely production of estimates and invoices. You must have a deep understanding of basic accounting principles. Knowledge of Accounting and business software – Quick Books and Microsoft Office – specifically Excel is a must. Ability to work within a fast-paced environment. A good command of the English language (written and spoken), attention to detail, and the ability to work within a team and autonomously is a must.

 

  • Reconcile, Balance and maintain accurate ledgers
  • Match orders with invoices
  • Monitor office expenses and tally and enter cash receipts
  • Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances
  • Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets
  • Prepare quarterly and monthly tax returns, along with payroll, operating and business taxes
